These terms apply when you use bookmedtrip.com or any service arranged by BookMedTrip, operated by BookMedTrip ("BookMedTrip", "we", "us"). By submitting a form or paying a fee on this website, you agree to them.

1. What BookMedTrip does

BookMedTrip is a medical travel facilitator. We connect international patients with independent, registered doctors and hospitals in India, and arrange travel, accommodation and support around their treatment.

We are not a hospital or clinic, and we do not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment ourselves. All clinical opinions and treatment are provided by the doctors and hospitals you consult, who are responsible for their medical services.

2. Specialist consultation

• The consultation fee is $30 USD, paid in advance through our payment partner, Razorpay.
• It covers a specialist's review of the reports you send us and one video consultation, plus a written summary of the recommended treatment.
• After payment, your care coordinator contacts you by email to collect your reports and agree a time for the call.
• A consultation by video is an opinion based on the information and reports you provide. It is not an emergency service, and it may not replace an in-person examination. The specialist may ask for further tests before recommending treatment.
• Refunds are covered by our refund and cancellation policy.

3. Your responsibilities

• Give accurate, complete information about your health and medical history.
• Only send reports and information you are entitled to share, and only for yourself or a patient who has agreed to it.
• Check visa, travel and insurance requirements for your nationality. We help with the hospital's invitation letter, but visa decisions are made by the Government of India.

4. Treatment, travel and estimates

Treatment costs are set by the hospital. Any estimate we pass on is the hospital's, may change after examination in India, and is confirmed by the hospital directly. Flights, hotels and other travel services are provided by third parties under their own terms. We'll share any fee for our travel arrangements in writing before you agree to it.

5. Limitation of liability

We arrange services with care, but we are not responsible for clinical outcomes, decisions made by doctors or hospitals, visa decisions, or delays and cancellations by airlines and other third parties. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your full card details. Your bank may charge currency conversion or international transaction fees.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Chandigarh have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any rights you have to bring a claim where you live.
