في التراث الهندي، دانفانتاري هو الطبيب الإلهي في الأيورفيدا، ويُروى أنه خرج من المحيط حاملًا إناء الأمريت. وفي الهيمالايا يُذكر اسمه باحترام حيثما يبدأ العلاج. ومراكز الاستجمام لدينا تحافظ على هذه الروح: هادئة ونظيفة ودافئة ومليئة بالنور، ليتعافى الجسد والنفس معًا.
