Our agents are the backbone of BookMedTrip. In Africa, the Middle East, Europe, the Americas and Asia they sit with families, gather reports, explain choices in their own language and stay close until the patient is home. Every one of them is verified by us.

We know some African travellers have heard of, or lived through, prejudice when visiting India. We stand firmly against it. From the airport to the hospital to your stay, every patient from Africa is received with the warmth and respect we would want for our own families.
- A personal coordinator meets you at the airport and is reachable day and night.
- The hospitals, drivers and stays we work with sign our respect code.
- Interpreters in Swahili, Somali, Amharic, French and Arabic.
- Food you know — halal, home-style and vegetarian, arranged in advance.
- Tell us about any disrespect, however small. We act on it the same day.

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, caste, religion, nationality, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation — not with our patients, not with our agents, not within our team. LGBTQ+ travellers and their families are as welcome as anyone. If you have a special request, tell us: we will make your time in India smooth, safe and dignified, and see you home again.
North India — Chandigarh and the Himalayas — has a long tradition of open-armed hospitality, and in the hills tourism is a way of life. That is where we bring you.

How we verify every agent
Verifying one agent costs us between US$5 and US$50 — and we repeat it every two to three months, with surprise background checks in between. We do it for every single agent, because your safety and our name depend on it.

A video call about our code of conduct — then a unique agent ID and portal access.
Why 99¢ to apply?
The 99¢ is your application and background-check fee. Every agent we take on costs us money: we verify identity, bank details and references, run a background check and a video interview, and then train every agent so our patients get the best service possible. 99¢ is a very small amount and does not cover that cost — but it is not free, because we do this due diligence for every single agent, and it shows you are serious about caring for patients. If 99¢ is difficult for you, you can join through the Care Fund instead.
- Everything happens online — application, checks, interview and your portal.
- We always do our very best, and we're honest that no check is perfect. If anything ever looks wrong, tell us and we act at once.
- This is not a pyramid scheme or network marketing. You never recruit agents and never pay to earn. You simply recommend BookMedTrip — a team of service providers here for the long run — to people who need care.
